Assistance in the establishment


The UBLaw team of experts led by Yuri Morozov assisted in the establishment of a foreign airline’s representative office in the Russian Federation.

The application to Rosaviatsia can be submitted in any format and must contain the purpose of establishing the representative office, a description of the foreign company’s business, and information about its business dealings and prospects for developing relations with Russian companies. This application must be signed by a duly authorized officer of the foreign entity.

The following documents must accompany the application:

  1. A copy of the foreign entity’s charter;

  2. A statement on the representative office being established;

  3. An extract from the commercial register of the country the foreign entity’s headquarters is registered in;

  4. Should special governmental permission be required to establish a representative office in accordance with the laws of the country the foreign entity is registered in, a copy of such permission duly notarized and translated into Russian must also accompany the application;

  5. A reference letter from the bank where the headquarters of the foreign entity has its key accounts;

  6. The resolution or an extract from the resolution of the foreign entity’s body or the officer authorized by the charter regarding the establishment of the representative office in a particular city in the Russian Federation;

  7. Power of attorney for the head of the representative office;

  8. Power of attorney for the person holding negotiations on the representative office’s establishment on behalf of the applicant.

Within 30 days of submitting the application with all necessary documents, UBLaw experts received Authorization to establish the foreign airline’s representative office.

The airline’s representative office currently operates and provides services to the citizens of Russia.
